Goody Two's
Japanese late-night bar
A basement bar after Tokyo's after-work nights, with one of Perth's biggest Japanese whisky collections and DJs until 2am.

Goody Two's opened in a basement at Hibernian Place in November 2018, from bar operator Andy Freeman with Eamon Sullivan and Scott Bridger of Bib & Tucker. It's modelled on the after-work drinking of Japan, the cheekier side of it, and the room runs to plush booths, lantern lights and a ceiling of cherry blossom.
It opened with more than 100 Japanese whiskies, sourced by the bar's then manager Alistair Kydd, and is often described as having the biggest Japanese selection in Perth. The bar still lists curated Japanese whiskies alongside its cocktails, and the kitchen does izakaya plates: dumplings, bao, fried chicken.
Know what you're walking into. This is a party bar as much as a whisky bar, with DJs, a dance floor and a lot of birthdays and hens nights, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Go on a Wednesday or Thursday, or early, if you want to sit at the bar and work through the Japanese shelf.
